Writing news!
Here is what’s currently happening: as of 1-30-12
The Grieving Process-a short I wrote, which received some great reviews in the Midnight Walk anthology. Has been re-optioned by a production company as short film for a web series Its getting closer and closer to happening (very exciting).
My novel Wereworld is with an agent at the moment, still no word yet. These things normally take forever unfortunately, I mean like REALLY forever.
I wrote a piece for an upcoming book from Darkscribe Press called Butcher Knives & Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights, and Fun of the Slasher Film, coming soon.
I also wrote a piece for a horror film book called Cutting Edge; I don't have a release date for that yet.
A novella I wrote with Michael Louis Calvillo, titled The Infinite, (described by one reader as Superbad meets Evil Dead) was picked up by Bad Moon Books. It should be released sometime in 2012. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
Movie News!
Just finished shooting the Maniac remake at the end of last year. Getting this year started off back in the shop working on Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Season 3 of the popular AMC series, The Walking Dead, will be gearing up shortly. My band Mower just played a show the other night in North Hollywood to a packed house. Its good to be back!!!
